शरारती सार्थक स्कूल से वार्षिक परिणाम सुनकर घर पहुंचा तो पिता ने कहा, "सार्थक, क्या रहा तुम्हारा रिज़ल्ट...?"

सार्थक ने मासूमियत से जवाब दिया, "पापा, पापा, आपको पता है, प्रिंसिपल साहब का बेटा फेल हो गया..."

पिता ने कहा, "ओह... लेकिन तुम्हारा रिज़ल्ट क्या रहा...?"

सार्थक ने फिर कहा "पापा, पापा, डॉक्टर आंटी की बेटी भी फेल हो गई है..."

पिता ने इस बार कुछ हैरान होकर कहा, "अरे, सचमुच... लेकिन तुम्हारा रिज़ल्ट क्या रहा...?"

सार्थक फिर बोला, "पापा, आपको पता है, आपके रिसर्च स्कॉलर दोस्त का बेटा भी फेल हो गया है..."

इस बार पिता का पारा चढ़ने लगा, और वह कुछ ज़ोर से बोले, "लेकिन तुम्हारा रिज़ल्ट क्या रहा...?"
